Meet Your Hosts: Jason & Shannon
St. Lucia holds a deeply personal and cherished place in our family's history. Jason grew up on the island in the 1970s, and Shannon, along with our two boys, spent the majority of the 2010s living here, embracing the vibrant culture and rhythm of the landscape. Though our family now lives in Austin, Texas, our lifelong connection to the island inspired the creation of The Sundara Project.
As an award-winning Production Designer in the film and television industry, Jason applied decades of architectural and set design experience to conceptualize and build the Villa. He engineered a space that flawlessly blurs the lines between ultra-luxury indoor comfort and St. Lucia's breathtaking natural environment, physically integrating the jungle into the home.
Shannon serves as the Project Curator and your dedicated host. As your primary point of contact from the moment of booking, she curates the guest experience to ensure every logistical detail is flawlessly executed. Whether coordinating your arrival details, assisting with custom itineraries, or handling any pre-trip requests, Shannon makes sure your vacation begins before you even step foot on the island.
